Job Applications
AnalyticsForest handles applications in two different ways, depending on the type of job you apply for:
1. Jobs posted by external companies or recruiters
When you apply for a job posted by a third-party organisation, your application details (including CV and contact information) are sent directly to the job poster using the email address or application link they provide.
AnalyticsForest does not store or access these applications, other than any temporary server logs generated through standard email delivery.
In these cases, the job poster is the data controller responsible for your application.
2. Talent Pool roles managed by AnalyticsForest
For Talent Pool or “house” roles created by AnalyticsForest, your application (including CV and contact information) is sent to an internal AnalyticsForest inbox for review.
AnalyticsForest acts as the data controller for these applications.
Applications are stored in a dedicated secure folder for up to 24 months, after which they are automatically deleted unless we are required to retain them longer for legal or regulatory reasons.
You may request deletion of your application at any time using the contact details above.

Directory Listings & Public Profiles
AnalyticsForest is a public directory. Any information you publish in a listing, company profile or job posting will be publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines. Removing or editing content on our platform does not guarantee immediate removal from search engine results or third-party archives.
Information Collected for Listings
When you create or claim a listing, we may collect:
- Name and contact details
- Company details (name, website, location, description)
- Role/title (if applicable)
- Any voluntary information you choose to publish in your listing
This information is processed for the purpose of displaying your listing publicly and enabling directory search functionality.
Account Information (If applicable)
If you create an account on AnalyticsForest, we may collect:
- Username
- Email address
- Password (stored in hashed form)
- Profile data
Account data is retained until the account is deleted.
Job Postings
When you create a job posting, we collect:
- Company name
- Contact details
- Role information
- Location
- Job description
- Any voluntary data you choose to include
This information is published publicly as part of the jobs board.
Payment Information
Payments for premium listings are processed by Stripe.
AnalyticsForest does not store credit card numbers or payment card details.
We may receive transaction metadata such as:
- Billing name
- Billing email
- Billing address
- Transaction identifiers
This data is used for invoicing, fraud prevention, and record-keeping.
Third-Party Service Providers
In addition to the third parties listed above, AnalyticsForest also uses:
- Stripe for payment processing
- GoDaddy for website hosting and infrastructure
- Directorist (WordPress plugin) for directory functionality
- WordPress as our content management system
These providers may process personal data on our behalf.
Data Retention Schedule
AnalyticsForest applies the following retention periods:
- Directory listings — retained until removed by the user
- Account data — retained until account deletion
- Job postings — retained until expiry or removal
- Talent Pool applications — retained for up to 24 months, then deleted
- Marketing emails — until you unsubscribe
- Support enquiries — retained as long as necessary to resolve the enquiry and maintain records
